The Overall Overhaul

Ailment: 

I hear that overalls can be a chic and are on trend.  How can I achieve this look without looking too country; not like there's anything wrong with that ;-)

Script For Style:

It is a fine line between chic and country when it comes to overalls.  There are a few things to keep in mind when working this potentially super cute look.  First, make sure it's fitted.  When the overalls are too baggy, it is reminiscent of an early 90's trend, which would not be flattering on most women.  Second, Make sure it's in a great denim wash.  Remember, darker can make your silhouette smaller, and if you want to add curves, maybe a lighter wash is the way to go.  Third, don't be afraid to experiment.  Try a new fabric and/or pattern! And lastly, accessorize! Pair overalls with a cute top, killer heels or a statement clutch, and you are good to go! Take a cue from fellow style bloggers Aimee Song @songofstyle ,  Sheryl Luke @walkinwonderland , @manrepeller and  Chriselle Lim @chrisellelim .
